✦ Letter from Mr. Wang

About this website

Tools built by a Chinese teacher of ten-plus years, for teachers and learners who want a clear, patient way to practice Chinese characters.

Hello, I'm Mr. Wang

I have been teaching Chinese for more than ten years. Through my teaching experience, I have found that learning Chinese characters is one of the biggest challenges for learners whose first language is not Chinese — especially for students from Indo-European language backgrounds. Teaching Chinese characters effectively is also a common challenge for Chinese language teachers.

Learning Chinese characters requires regular and consistent practice. Both writing practice and character recognition practice can help students deepen their understanding and memory of Chinese character forms, strokes, structures, and meanings. For this reason, this website was created to provide practical tools for Chinese character teaching and learning.

For teachers and students

One of the core functions of this website is to help teachers quickly generate Tian Zi Ge writing worksheets for classroom teaching and homework. The stroke practice templates, component decomposition tools, and character structure templates can also be used as classroom teaching resources, helping students understand how Chinese characters are formed from strokes and components.

For students, the character writing practice tools support self-study by helping them practise stroke order and character structure. With trace guides, model characters, stroke order prompts, and writing grids, students can gradually become familiar with the rules of Chinese character writing and develop good writing habits.

The Hanzi Builder feature also allows students to move strokes, match components, and build characters step by step. This interactive process helps students better understand the internal structure of Chinese characters and improve their ability to recognise and remember them.

What's available today

Three tools, designed to work together — from a single stroke to a full character.

Thank you

I hope this website provides useful support for both Chinese teachers and learners. I'm continuing to improve the current features and develop more practical, engaging, and easy-to-use Chinese character learning tools.

Thank you for your support. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to reach out through the Send feedback link in the footer. I wish you success in your work and studies!
